Alana gained a BSc in Geography from the University of Sussex where she specialised in ecology and conservation. She applied the use of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) throughout her course, which she developed a key passion for.

Since joining Founds Group in 2023, her expertise in GIS and analytical skills has evolved, providing key insights to Local Authority clients across place makings, highways and digital projects. Alana is a strong advocate for applying data insights to provide clients with added value, utilising data from multiple sources and creating effective visualisations.

Clients include GIS data insights for multi-million-pound projects such as St Helens Town Centre Digital Infrastructure project and Greater Manchester Sustainable Decarbonisation network, applying her skills around decarbonisation, asset management and supporting project management.

Passionate about sustainability and environment she brings a balanced and ethical approach to her work.
